International European University hosted the Work Team Meeting today
This meeting became a milestone event summarizing the University’s achievements in 2024, united the efforts of all team members, and defined strategic areas for further development.
Oleh Padalka, the Rector of the University, presented a detailed report on the achievements of the year, confirming the steady progress of IEU at the educational and scientific stage. Key achievements include:
• Scientific activities:
Increase in the number of scientific publications and papers by 27%. Registration of patents for inventions using innovative medical techniques and obtaining copyright certificates for scientific works. The launch of the Society. Economy. Digitalization scientific journal opened up new opportunities for publishing advanced international research.
• Education:
Licensing at the postgraduate education level in the Medicine specialty, expansion of the licensed volume at the Bachelor and Master levels of higher education in the Medicine specialty, as well as the expansion of additional specialization programs.
• International accreditation:
One of the most significant achievements of the year is the obtaining of international accreditation of the Medicine educational program by the ZEvA accreditation agency, confirming that the program meets the highest global standards. It allows our students to not only receive high-quality education but also gain international recognition of their diplomas. The accreditation is the result of the coordinated efforts of the entire University team and reflects the high standards of education quality.
• International recognition and activities:
The University has improved its positions in the Webometrics, Scopus, H-index, TOP 200, and other rankings, confidently holding leading positions among education institutions.
The share of international scientific events increased to 70% of the total number due to active cooperation with leading universities in Europe and worldwide. In particular, joint conferences, workshops, and educational programs were organized in partnership with international organizations, enhancing the academic exchange.
The University keeps successfully implementing several projects as part of the Erasmus+ program, particularly in education digitalization, inclusion, and medical innovations. IEU is the National Contact Point of Horizon Europe MSCA. It is also worth noting the signing of new double degree agreements with universities in Italy, Germany, and France, which provides our students with even more opportunities to receive high-quality education according to European standards.
Besides, the University has expanded its geography, engaging students from over 25 countries and strengthening its status as an international educational center.
Attendees also discussed suggestions on improving the educational process, initiatives to create better conditions for students and staff, as well as prospects for participation in new international projects. In addition, they emphasized the need for regular review and updating of university policies to ensure their alignment with international education standards.
