New UkraStud guidelines on the inclusion of Ukrainian students in universities are now available! 🇺🇦🇪🇺

The International European University supports initiatives aimed at developing an inclusive, safe and supportive educational environment for Ukrainian students. That is why we are pleased to share the latest results of the Erasmus+ UkraStud project – “Perceptions of Inclusion, Well-Being and Identification with the European Union among Ukrainian University Students” (No. 2024-1-IT02-KA220-HED-000253039) 🌟

The project team presents one of its key outcomes – comprehensive Guidelines on the Inclusion of Ukrainian Students in Universities.

The developed guidelines transform research findings and the practical experience of the partners into tools that universities can adapt and implement across three key areas:

🔹 Social inclusion – strengthening the sense of belonging to the university community, participation in student life and intercultural interaction, and preventing social isolation, stereotypes and discrimination.

🔹 Transition from education to employment – supporting the development of employability skills, professional and language adaptation, internships, and cooperation between universities and employers.

🔹 Psychological well-being – supporting students’ psychological well-being, early identification of support needs, and ensuring access to relevant university services.

The guidelines include practical protocols, implementation instructions, the identification of responsible persons, as well as tools for monitoring and evaluating results 🙌🏻

The materials are flexible and can be adapted by universities according to their institutional context, resources and the actual needs of students.

We invite teachers, tutors, student support services and other interested stakeholders to ознакомиться with the UkraStud guidelines, use and adapt them in their activities, and share them with the academic community 💫
