On February 7, 2024, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine held the webinar on Digital Competence Framework for Healthcare Professionals joined by the academic staff of the Department of Fundamental, Medical and Preventive Disciplines. The development and introduction of this document is aimed at improving the quality of medical education and medical sector operations in general.

Participants discussed the prerequisites for the creation of the Digital Competence Framework, its structure, application and components.

It is determined to be an important tool for ensuring the planning and implementation of educational initiatives and the development of the state policy aimed at increasing the level of digital literacy and the practical use of digital technologies and services by healthcare professionals of various fields and categories.
