On April 10, 2024, Professor Raphaël Pitti from France, a well-known expert in tactical and disaster medicine, visited the Department of Pediatrics, Immunology, Infectious and Rare Diseases at Kyiv City Children’s Clinical Hospital No. 1 and met with Yevheniia Hryhorieva, the Director of the Hospital.
Prof. Raphaël Pitti is the initiator of the @Mehad Training Center in Ukraine and the scientific supervisor of all training programs. The initiative is supported by Yurii Stepanovskyi, Associate Professor at the IEU’s Department of Pediatrics, Immunology, Infectious and Rare Diseases.
The training center was established in Lviv two years ago, introducing trainings in numerous areas of emergency medicine, including tactical ultrasound diagnostics, acute psychotrauma, military surgery, emergency care, medical evacuation and pain management.
A lot of training sessions took place at the IEU’s Simulation Learning Center.
Besides, Professor Raphaël Pitti met with students of International European University.
