On December 22, 2022, Valentyn Postrelko, a professor at the Department of Clinical Disciplines, Doctor of Medicine, gave the public lecture in the Psychiatry and narcology discipline for 5-year EMS students and IEU interns.
The lecture examined issues related to mental and organic disorders among the military personnel during combat operations and civilians in the occupied territories.
The lecture caused a lively response and discussion. Some students are outside of Ukraine because of martial law, so they joined online, but they are going to continue their postgraduate studies at IEU. Thus, we can see the principle of continuous professional development of doctors and unity to undergraduate and postgraduate training at one education institution.
