On March 28, Alla Navolokina, the President of IEU, and Iryna Torbenko, the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and International Relations, took part in the webinar: Development of the High-Quality Educational Program in the 035 Philology Specialty by the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance.

The webinar was attended by 349 participants from all over Ukraine, including philologists, educators and scientists. The event was aimed at exploring best practices and strategies for improving philological education.

🗣 Olena Yeremenko, the Deputy Head of the National Agency, told the audience about best practices of philological education, focusing on aspects of learning foreign languages. Oleksandr Bondarenko, Doctor of Philology, a representative of the 03 Humanities Industry Expert Council, together with the Director of the Translatel Ltd translation company shared valuable prospects for taking higher education standards into account when developing educational programs and stressed the importance of compliance with the stipulated standards to achieve high-quality results.

📚 Hanna Denyskina, the Head of the Department of Educational Program Accreditation at the Secretariat of the National Agency, talked about the process of preparing for accreditation of educational programs in philology, focusing on the analysis and procedures required to obtain accreditation.

👥 Alla Koroliova, the Vice-Rector of Kyiv National Linguistic University, shared the University’s experience in designing, implementing and accrediting educational programs in the 035 Philology specialty.

The webinar became a platform for fruitful discussions and knowledge exchange. The interactive Q&A session contributed to a deeper understanding of difficulties and challenges arising in the development and support of high-quality philology educational programs.
