As part of the Memorandum of Cooperation, IEU along with Progresylni NGO held the meeting of Progressive Islands coordinators.

The University is one of the 30 Progressive Islands.

On January 15, 2024, Iryna Torbenko, the Vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work and international relations, took part in the first meeting of coordinators. Iryna Torbenko made a significant contribution to joint development and exchange of ideas, stressing our mutual support and goal.

The meeting defined working areas discussed by representatives at the summit in December, including clustering of islands, advanced training using workshops, academic mobility, Islands Festival, Indestructibility Islands and Internationalization Strategy.

Besides, attendees shared contacts and shared ideas for further cooperation.
