The Professional Development Sessions for the Higher Education Institutions started on the picturesque island of Malta on August 27. The event brought together professionals from all over the world and included 6 informative sessions covering the latest aspects of accreditation and quality assurance in education.
Our representatives, Olesia Hulchii, the Vice-Rector of the University, and Alina Druzhyna, a representative of the Dean’s Office, also took part in the event. They successfully completed the training, gaining invaluable experience in working with institutional accreditation standards according to the European Standards and Guidelines (ESG).
Participants were able to:
- Advance their knowledge of current accreditation requirements.
- Discuss best practices in education quality assurance.
- Establish new contacts with colleagues from other education institutions, facilitating the exchange of experiences and ideas.
- Receive advice from industry experts to be useful in their future work.
These sessions were a significant step for our University towards enhancing the quality of education for students. The acquired knowledge and skills will allow us to introduce new approaches and innovations, undoubtedly opening new prospects for the development of our educational activities.
