International European University took part in the 2nd Conference of the All-Ukrainian Network for the Recognition of Foreign Educational Qualifications (UaReNet) organized by the ENIC Ukraine National Information Centre of Academic Mobility.
The University was represented by Iryna Torbenko, the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and International Relations. The Conference became a significant platform for discussing the main risks and problems arising when training foreign citizens at Ukrainian higher education institutions.
Attendees discussed key challenges and critical issues faced by Ukrainian higher education institutions in the context of training foreign students. It included the recognition of foreign qualifications, adaptation to a new educational environment and high-quality studies for students from various cultural and language contexts.
The event was funded by the Council of Europe and supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine as part of the UaReConnect “Reconnecting Ukrainian Education Area” project aimed at improving the quality and affordability of high education in Ukraine.
We believe that this initiative shows Ukraine’s efforts in supporting international cooperation and creating a favorable environment for foreign students choosing our country to receive higher education.
