Representatives of the IEU’s Institute of Postgraduate Education led by Svitlana Doan, the Vice-Rector for Educational and Scientific Work and Postgraduate Education, visited our partners – the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. They were able to learn the particularities of providing first aid from Mykola Kvach, PhD in Medicine, Associate Professor at the IEU’s Department of Surgery, Chief Physician at the Health Harmony Network of Medical Centers.

Theoretical knowledge was immediately practiced on dummies as close to reality as possible due to the efforts of Alla Navolokina, the President of IEU, who thoroughly monitors the provision of the simulation center with the latest inventions.

We can’t help but mention the high level of willingness of the Public Health Center staff to master the MARСH protocol. We were impressed by the speed of practicing applying tourniquets to different parts of the body, tamping wounds and bandaging, freeing airways from foreign objects, examining the wounded person, etc.
