Surgery and Laparoscopy Training at the IEU’s European Medical School

On Friday, the European Medical School of International European University conducted the regular practical training in surgery as part of the integrative course that meets the highest international standards of medical education.

Students got a unique opportunity to practice:

• Laparoscopic skills;

• Suturing techniques, including the Donati suture;

• The use of modern simulators.

During the course, participants also focus on the development of clinical competencies, in particular, practicing ultrasound, audiography, and other practical skills necessary for modern doctors.

A special feature of the European Medical School is the permanent access of students to innovative equipment, including laparoscopic simulators, allowing them to acquire skills not only during classes but also during extracurricular activities.
