On October 2-3, 2024, second-year students of the European Medical School along with Viktoriia Kovalenko, the Head of the Department of Fundamental, Medical and Preventive Disciplines, and Oksana Kaleinikova, Associate Professor at the Department of Morphology and Physiology, attended Ukraine’s major sectoral exhibition – Public Health.
Participants were able to examine innovative solutions in healthcare, see a wide range of medical and laboratory equipment, as well as take part in the tactical medicine training based on NATO standards. Students eagerly tested cutting-edge colposcopy devices, explored the capabilities of portable ultrasound sensors, and discovered the equipment of laboratories for analysis and rehabilitation of gait and movement.
The exhibition became not only a platform for presenting state-of-the-art medical solutions and offerings but also a space for discussing a wide range of issues related to public health and a venue for speeches by experienced professionals, the exchange of ideas, presentation of real cases, and active discussions. University lecturers participated in the Congress on Rehabilitation and Medical Tourism and attended seminars on Simulation Medicine: Development Prospects in Ukraine and Advanced Laboratory Medicine Technologies and Their Use in Clinical Practice.
