Students of the European Medical School together with Viktoriia Kovalenko, the Head of the Department of Fundamental, Medical and Preventive Disciplines, and Associate Professor Mykhailo Mykhailiuk visited the Public Health International Medical Exhibition. The event presented cutting-edge diagnostic devices and facilities, innovative equipment, treatment and rehabilitation simulators, medical products from Ukraine and other countries, IT systems and software.
Students examined exposition stands with great interest. The greatest interest was paid to a laparoscopy simulator with a built-in camera and LED backlight that can be connected to a computer, ultrasound scanner and Teleoptik C-16 mobile X-ray machine, conducting studies on ultrasound diagnostic devices, as well as Variotherm KCE resuscitation units for newborns.
As part of the exhibition, students attended training sessions held by the Hospitallers and the Wartime Burns and Wounds seminar.
It is worth mentioning that involvement of students in similar events is a crucial component of the educational process, enhancing their motivation to study and affecting the choice of future specialization.
