Fourth-year students of the European Medical School are taking practical ophthalmology classes. Under the supervision of highly qualified ophthalmologists headed by Oksana Petrenko, Doctor of Medical Science, Professor, ophthalmologist, students learn basic methods of diagnostics, treatment and prevention of eye diseases.
They are able to observe patient examinations, perform some procedures and even take part in solving clinical cases.
These practical classes allow students to enrich their knowledge of medical practice and apply it in professional activities. They learn to recognize various eye pathologies, understand the principles of treatment and use of modern diagnostic methods.
Ophthalmology classes provide students with such crucial skills as observation, diagnostic accuracy and the ability to make reasonable medical decisions. These classes also emphasize the importance of teamwork and ethical aspects in the medical sector.
So, practical ophthalmology classes are becoming an integral component of learning for medical students, helping them to become qualified and competent doctors in the future.
