Program lecturers attended the @Biopharma plasma center as part of the Secondary Specialization Program in Immunology and Pediatric Immunology at the IEU’s Institute of Postgraduate Education.
During the visit, Anastasiia Bondarenko, Professor at the Department of Pediatrics, Immunology, Infectious and Rare Diseases, Yurii Stepanovskyi, PhD in Medicine, Anna Hilfanova, PhD in Medicine, and Fedir Lapii, PhD in Medicine, shared their experience and knowledge with their colleagues, examined clinical cases and discussed complicated situations.
They also enjoyed an informative tour conducted by Oksana Muliarchuk, the Director of the Plasma Center Network.
Yurii Stepanovskyi, as an experienced plasma donor, invited their colleagues to join the donation as well.
Future immunologists and pediatric immunologists became plasma donors for their patients.
