On December 5, 2023, at the invitation of Olha Skomorokha (Head of the Marketing Department at INVIVO Lab), students of the European Medical School together with Viktoriia Kovalenko, the Head of the Department of Fundamental, Medical and Preventive Disciplines, and Associate Professor Mykhailo Mykhailiuk visited the INVIVO Medical Lab operating according to the international quality standards and providing a wide range of laboratory research in the main areas of clinical pathology.

The excursion took place as part of such disciplines as Histology, cytology and embryology, Microbiology, virology and immunology, and Hygiene and ecology.

During the tour, Natalia Samosiuk, the Head of the Laboratory, told attendees about particularities of working in laboratory surroundings, laboratory research requirements, as well as its methods and equipment.

Students were able to see the bacteriological study of dysbacteriosis with antibioticogram, histological and pathohistological blood preparations, the operation of analyzers for general blood test, urine test, determination of blood group, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, cancer markers, hormones, microelements.
Students found the excursion quite interesting and informative.
