Tour of Pyrohiv Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine: Discovering Ukraine together!
On September 27, 2024, first-year students of the Department of Tourism, Social Sciences and Humanities led by their lecturers went on an exciting journey to the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine as part of the celebration of World Tourism Day.
This open-air museum became a true window into the past, allowing us to immerse ourselves into the atmosphere of Ukrainian traditions, everyday life, and culture of the 18th-19th centuries.
Our lecturers shared interesting historical facts, talking about the internal structure of traditional homes and household buildings from various regions of Ukraine. It was not just a tour but a true history lecture that inspired each of us to learn more about our roots and cultural heritage.
After the trip, we enjoyed exciting tasks, creative contests, and fun competitions. It was a great opportunity not only to test our skills but also to establish new relations and strengthen friendships with our classmates.
