Over half of the year, the МЕНАD non-governmental organization in cooperation with International European University has been helping Ukrainian hospitals in mastering ultrasound diagnostics of emergencies. Over six months of holding simulation training using portable US devices, the University has been providing Ukrainian doctors with new competencies in tactical medicine and emergency medical care in extreme situations.
The meeting on December 16 resulted in signing the Memorandum where Alla Navolokina, the President of the University, and Professor Raphaël Pitti (scientific supervisor of МЕНАD training programs) discussed simulation learning development plans and the importance of continuing professional development for doctors.
We express our gratitude to Yurii Stepanovskyi, associate professor at the Department of Pediatrics, Immunology, Infectious and Rare Diseases, for the implementation of the МЕНАD project at IEU and Svitlana Doan, the Vice-rector for educational and scientific work and postgraduate education, for the organization of training.
