We would like to share impressions from the first seminar of this year: Student in the Spotlight. This significant event was held by Anzhelika Drozdova, the Director of the Department of Education Quality Assurance, and Kseniia Puzik, the Acting Director of the Department of Public Relations and Youth Policy.
The key topics of the meeting included academic integrity, the IEU anti-corruption policy, student-centeredness, education quality and the influence of students on the educational process, as well as the Student Parliament, which is an integral part of the student community.
We were able to discuss several crucial aspects concerning students’ activity in all University processes. In particular, we talked about the freedom to choose disciplines, procedures for appeals and suggestions, and participation in surveys to improve the quality of the educational process.
Besides, first-year students found out about the benefits of working in the Student Parliament and the importance of early work experience for each student. It is a great opportunity to develop leadership skills, take part in decision-making, and affect University life!
The meeting took place in a friendly and lively atmosphere! We played the Kahoot interactive game allowing students to compete in knowledge and have fun. The discussion was vibrant, and everyone had the opportunity to share their opinions.
