On December 2-3, 2023, Kyiv hosted the Progressive Educators SUMMIT bringing together more than 200 participants. Iryna Torbenko, the Vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work and international relations, and Olena Minenko, the Deputy Director of the European Business School, took part in the event.

The summit was organized by Progresylni NGO, a non-commercial organization of educators, students and public administrators in Ukraine. It is a dynamic community of committed people who build the future of Ukraine’s education and create jobs for youth.

The summit involved guest foreign speakers, particularly Domènec RUIZ DEVESA and João ALBUQUERQUE, members of the European Parliament.

Besides, Felix Goett, the Director of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, personally welcomed event participants.

Attendees discussed key problems of Ukrainian education and strategies for their solutions. The exchange of experience and interesting communication of the teaching community motivated everyone to further development and advancement of professional qualities and abilities.

The event presented 2023 achievements of Progresylni NGO and discussed innovations in education. Speakers shared tips and all participant received certificates, highlighting the successful completion of the event and the readiness to continue the cooperation in 2024.
