On June 24, 2021, International European University took part in the international scientific conference “Sustainable Transport System and Maritime Logistics ISTSML 2021” in the online mode.
It involved such countries as Georgia, the UK, Hong Kong, Latvia, Estonia, Slovakia, Indonesia, Bulgaria and Ukraine. The latter was represented by International European University consisting of: Alla Navolokina, vice-rector for educational and scientific work and international relations, Yuliia Remyha, head of the Department of Management and Economics, and Oleksii Hutsaliuk, professor at the Department of Management and Economics.

Alla Navolokina, vice-rector for educational and scientific work and international relations, delivered a welcome speech to the organizers and participants, stressing the importance of supporting international integration, even in the context of global pandemic situation. Besides, Alla Navolokina invited the administration of Batumi Navigation University to International European University, as well as shared plans and intention to sign a cooperation agreement between the universities.
On behalf of the Department of Management and Economics, its head Yuliia Remyha expressed her gratitude and talked about the possibilities for future joint scientific projects. Yuliia Remyha was also involved in the panel section discussion, presenting her scientific research on the development of Ukraine’s maritime potential according to the conference topic.
We thank Batumi Navigation University for excellent organization of the event, as the conference featured a friendly atmosphere, exchange of experience between scientists and experts from different countries!
