My Peace Musical Session: Youth voice for peace
As part of the international peacebuilding project, International European University in Ukraine and Malta held a unique music session, My Peace, allowing young people to express their thoughts, emotions, and visions of peace through music and dialogue. This event became a part of a broader initiative aimed at creating 10 intercultural music videos with messages of peace by young people from various European countries.
Participants from different countries listened to songs of diverse cultures, discussed the role of music in establishing a dialogue, reducing tension in society, and expressed their opinions on the impact of the war in Ukraine. Recorded dialogues before and after songs reflect real voices of young people: sincere, deep, and inspired.
This is not just art but a call to action for educators, cultural figures, and policymakers to hear young people and engage them in active participation in creating peace.
