Recently, our university hosted an engaging meeting with students dedicated to student self-governance. The event was held in a hybrid format, combining an in-person session with an online broadcast, allowing a wide range of interested participants to join.
During the meeting, we discussed key topics, including:
✅ The role and mission of the Student Parliament – how it can influence university life and protect students’ rights.
✅ The structure and functions of the self-governance body – distribution of responsibilities, work of committees, and initiative groups.
✅ The legal framework – rights and responsibilities of student self-governance according to current regulations.
✅ Interaction between the Student Parliament and university administration – how to communicate effectively, initiate changes, and achieve results.
A special focus was placed on analyzing the regulations on student self-governance at our university, comparing them with similar documents from other institutions, and discussing possible improvements. Students proposed several ideas for expanding the Parliament’s powers, strengthening its role in decision-making, and increasing student engagement.
The meeting provided an excellent platform for open dialogue, exchanging ideas, and planning the next steps for developing student self-governance. We appreciate all participants for their active involvement and constructive suggestions! 🚀
📢 Stay tuned for more updates – many exciting initiatives are coming up!
