Université Côte d’Azur held an important meeting as part of the International Week of Digital Transformation (June 17-21)
Olesia Hulchii, the Vice-Rector for Scientific, Educational and Medical Activities of IEU, met with representatives of Université Côte d’Azur: Fanny Burel-Vandenbos, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, and Blanca Martin Ayala, the European Project Manager.
Attendees discussed the prospects for cooperation between the institutions, in particular, the internationalization of educational, scientific and clinical activities. They also examined the preparation of a workshop initiated by our University, which dealt with an extremely important aspect of the promotion of artificial intelligence in education and science – the ethics of its use. The workshop drew the attention of the organizers by its relevance and significance, as many participants from different countries expressed a desire to take part in it. Our partners noted that IEU’s approaches and ideology are fully consistent with the context and values of the International Week of Digital Transformation.
The parties agreed to develop a separate dialogue with the Medical Faculty of Université Côte d’Azur. The first step of this was a visit to the University Clinic and exchange of experience in organizing clinical work at medical higher education institutions. Olesia Hulchii informed her colleagues about modern approaches to blended learning successfully adopted at the University, as well as training students and interns at healthcare facilities belonging to the Clinical Alliance of International European University. It is these innovations that allow us to train high-end medical professionals in the face of war.
