The first lesson of the Debate Club at IEUTwo teams were engaged in exciting discussions, improving their public speaking and critical thinking skills. Discussion topics were extremely interesting and relevant:
Should social media hide likes? Is it fair that athletes get more money than average doctors and teachers? Should people work 4 days per week?Participants learned to clearly express their thoughts, argue their position, and find convincing counterarguments in the atmosphere of constructive discussion and mutual respect.
