Martine Pergent, President of the International Patient Organisation for Primary Immunodeficiencies (IPOPI), visited IEU. The visit to Ukraine was initiated by specialists of the Department of Pediatrics, Immunology, Infectious and Rare Diseases of IEU, who are also members of the board of the NGO «Ukrainian Association of Pediatric Immunology»: Professor Bondarenko A.V., Associate Professor Gilfanova A.M., and Associate Professor Stepanovskyi Yu.S.
As part of the visit, a large-scale scientific and practical conference was successfully organized and held. In addition, a series of joint working meetings took place, with the main goal of coordinating efforts to improve the quality of medical care for patients with primary immunodeficiencies.
