International European University took part in the 6th Antibiotic Resistance STOP! International Congress on November 17-18, 2023. Anastasiia Bondarenko, Professor at the Department of Pediatrics, Immunology, Infectious and Rare Diseases as well as Fedir Lapii, Yurii Stepanovskyi and Hanna Hilfanova, Associate professors at the Department of Pediatrics, Immunology, Infectious and Rare Diseases, made presentations, moderated and took part in panel discussions.

Presentations included:
• Orphan diseases and antimicrobial therapy. Talking about the main things! by Hanna Hilfanova and Anastasiia Bondarenko.
• COVID-19: vaccination vs therapy by Fedir Lapii.

The Congress was dedicated to the World Antibiotic Awareness Week. Its key goal is to inform about dangers of self-treatment with antibiotics and to promote a responsible attitude to them.

It should be noted that the event met the requirements and standards of the US Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (АССМЕ).
