International European University celebrated Vyshyvanka Day!
Students, lecturers and staff of University campuses united to celebrate this special day symbolizing the richness of Ukrainian culture and traditions.
One of the keynote events of the holiday was an interactive thematic test involving the University personnel. It was a perfect way not only to show your knowledge of embroidery but also to find out more about its history and symbolism. Besides, students prepared a special video dedicated to Vyshyvanka Day, evoking great admiration and emotion among all attendees.
The discussion focused on crucial issues of the modernity and history of embroidery. Participants shared their opinions about preserving and promoting this unique heritage of our culture and thought about how embroidery could become a symbol of unity and national pride in a global context.
Vyshyvanka Day became a real holiday at our University, bringing together everyone in love with Ukrainian traditions and cultural heritage.
