Anastasiia Bondarenko, the Head of the Department of Pediatrics, Immunology, Infectious and Rare Diseases, MD, Professor, as well as Anna Hilfanova, PhD in Medicine, and Yurii Stepanovskyi, Associate Professors at the Department of Pediatrics, Immunology, Infectious and Rare Diseases, organised the Interdisciplinary Spring School in Immunology on April 25-27 in Chernivtsi.

The Spring School is aimed at discussing the following issues:

• respiratory diseases in case of congenital immune deficiencies;

• the role of doctors of various specialties (pulmonologists, hematologists, allergists, ENT specialists) in diagnostics and management of patients with primary immunodeficiencies and hereditary angioedema;

• common variable immunodeficiency: management of complications;

• hereditary angioedema: nuances of diagnostics and treatment;

• interpretation of genetic research results (workshop);

• relevant issues of immunoprophylaxis in patients with PID and HAE;

• strategic sessions: ways to raise the awareness of PID and HAE.
