Discover knowledge in a convenient way!On October 10, 2024, the IEU Scientific Library hosted an information meeting for students on the topic: Library Informational Resources: Structure and Composition.
All users of our library have access to such useful resources as an electronic catalog, an institutional repository, and access to well-known scientific databases.
The electronic catalog is your guide to the word of books, articles, and other materials.
You can:
● Search for books by author, title, or subject;
● Reserve books online to receive them at the library;
● Read a brief description of each resource.
The institutional repository contains scientific articles, theses, and other research papers by the staff and students of our institution. You can look through and download these materials for free.
Besides, our library provides access to the following scientific databases:
Scopus – a leading database for scientific publications, covering a wide range of disciplines. It is perfect for finding articles and research.
Web of Science (WoS) – a platform for searching for citations of scientific papers in various knowledge areas. It helps to monitor scientific trends and citation rates.
Research4Life – a resource that provides free or low-cost access to scientific research for institutions in developing countries. It includes several programs, such as HINARI (medicine) and AGORA (agriculture).
PubMed – a free database for searching scientific articles in medicine and biology, providing access to millions of peer-reviewed articles.
And many other databases.
How to work with resources?

2. Select the appropriate section: Electronic Catalog, Institutional Repository or one of the international databases.
3. Use the keyword search to quickly access the necessary information.
4. Save or download materials for convenient use.
