IEU continues active international cooperation: we are at the ICFDHP Conference – Barcelona
International faculty development is the key to the future of education in the field of healthcare, and it was precisely this topic that the 8th ICFDHP Conference (“Future-Ready Educators: Empowering Faculty for Tomorrow’s Challenges”) was dedicated to. The event took place on August 23–24, 2025, at the Barcelona International Convention Centre (CCIB).
This conference became a platform for academic, administrative, and teaching leaders from around the world who seek to strengthen faculty readiness for future challenges.
We had the opportunity to hear and participate in:
• Plenary lectures, including “Democracy, Dialogue, and Love: Reclaiming Education as a Transformative Journey” — Marco Carvalho-Filho.
• Thematic parallel sessions: ePoster, Short Communications, symposia, workshops, Points of View on innovations in faculty development, interdisciplinary collaboration, mentoring, leadership, AI skills, and inclusion.
• Networking sessions for exchanging ideas and establishing partnerships.
Professor Anatolii Masliukov took part in the conference as IEU’s representative — a member organization of AMEE. Anatolii was able to share IEU’s achievements, discuss the potential of mentorship, interprofessional education, and the role of digital tools in shaping competent and adaptable educators.
We emphasized that we are always open to new international collaborations, experience exchange, and further enrichment of our strategic partner network.
We thank Anatolii for representing IEU’s interests on the international stage and look forward to new joint initiatives within AMEE.
