IEU representatives at the UkrPROG-2025 International Conference: on programming challenges, digital transformation, and integration of language education

Professor Oleksandr Nesterenko and Associate Professor Tetiana Sorokina, lecturers at the Department of Information Technology of the IEU’s European Business School, took part in the 15th International Scientific and Practical Programming Conference (UkrPROG-2025) held in Kyiv at the Institute of Cybernetics and the Institute of Software Systems of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

This scientific forum brought together experts from various countries to discuss current software challenges, in particular:

• the latest approaches to the development and quality of software systems;

• standardization and certification issues;

• development of complex computer systems and models;

• intellectualization of software products based on artificial intelligence;

• adoption of technologies in digital transformation processes.

During the Problems of Digital Transformation section, IEU representatives made a presentation on the topic:

Didactic Aspects of Software Engineering Through Learning English as a Foreign Language.

The presentation revealed how teaching software engineering can be integrated with learning English to ensure the simultaneous development of professional and linguistic competence of future IT professionals. This approach meets the requirements of the global labor market and facilitates the more efficient training of students to participate in international projects.

Participation in the Conference confirms IEU’s active scientific activities and desire to integrate educational innovations into the European scientific space.
