On October 10, 2024, the Municipal Research Institute of Social and Economic Development of the City hosted an important event dedicated to the inclusion in public life: Inclusivity in Modern Society. International European University also took part in the event to discuss key issues of accessibility and support for people with special needs.
The event focused on accessibility to social and psychological services for children through mobile teams, stressing the need to support youth and create conditions for education of individuals with special educational needs, while emphasizing the respect for human rights.
Besides, we were able to examine the concept of inclusive rehabilitation tourism that promotes the socialization of individuals and provides opportunities for the rehabilitation of disabled persons via art and culture.
This event became a platform for sharing experience and ideas that will help improve accessibility and support for people with special needs in Ukraine. We thank all participants for their active involvement and valuable contributions!
