IEU at the 34th annual EURASHE Conference in Portugal!
The first official day of the EURASHE International Conference started on May 14, 2025, in Portalegre, Portugal. It is dedicated to the topic: Place, Knowledge, Skills: Applied universities driving regional competitiveness. Our representatives took an active part in activities of the first day of the Conference that brought together applied universities from all over Europe.
The Conference program included presentations by leading European experts in education, science, and innovations, plenary sessions, panel and thematic discussions on the role of applied universities in regional development, innovative approaches to education, and the establishment of educational ecosystems.
The series of breakout sessions focused on the following topics:
• The role of universities of applied sciences in regional development
• Cooperation for innovations and competitiveness
• Doctoral studies at European applied universities
• Immersive learning environments
• Regional and European innovation ecosystems
