Day 1. EUonAIR Kick-Off Meeting in Warsaw

On May 14, 2025, International European University, as an associate member, joined the official opening of the two-day EUonAIR Kick-Off Meeting held in Warsaw at Kozminski University, the coordinator of the alliance.

The meeting was solemnly opened by Prof. Dr. Hab. Grzegorz Mazurek, the Rector of Kozminski University, welcoming participants and stressing the value of international partnership in the context of digital transformations.

A welcome speech was also delivered by Prof. Dr. Hab. Andrzej Szeptycki, the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Poland, while a representative of the European Commission emphasized the strategic importance of the alliance for the establishment of a common European scientific and educational area.

Richard Freeman, Professor at Harvard University, a consultant to the Alliance on ethical issues, spoke on ethical dilemmas and governance issues caused by the misuse of artificial intelligence, reflecting on how simulations of group dynamics using artificial intelligence can facilitate moral discussions and responsible decision-making.

This participation is not only a confirmation of trust as the associate member for IEU but also a new opportunity to integrate into innovative initiatives in artificial intelligence, mobility, and sustainable education.
