On May 29, 2025, International European University hosted the Academic Council Meeting to examine key issues related to the academic and organizational development of the University.
One of the first issues was the awarding of the academic title of Associate Professor to Rostyslav Valikhnovskyi, a lecturer at the Department of Surgical Diseases with a Course in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, which is an important step in the professional growth of the academic staff and improving the quality of the educational process.
Besides, attendees discussed the competitive selection for vacant positions to provide the University with qualified personnel.
Iryna Boiarko, the Vice-Rector for Scientific, Educational and Methodical Work, presented the analysis of key performance indicators for the 2024-2025 academic year, emphasizing the achievements and defining areas for further improvement of University operations.
Another crucial aspect included the discussion of the preparation and organization of the 2025 admission campaign. Kseniia Puzik, the Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee, outlined the main stages, approaches to informing applicants, and tasks for the high-quality support of the admission process.
The meeting also considered the approval of updated curricula and educational programs for the 2025/2026 academic year to ensure compliance of the educational process with current requirements and student needs.
The meeting was constructive, focusing on improving the quality of education, enhancing the staff, and strategic planning for further steps.
