Healing Wounds Training at IEU: new knowledge and practical skills!
On Saturday, IEU hosted a crucial training in Healing Wounds. The event brought together 7 primary care doctors from Bucha, 7 students of the integrative course, and a representative of USAID, providing a great opportunity to share knowledge and experience.
The training advanced our knowledge of modern methods of wound treatment and care. Participants learned about different types of wounds, their classification, and specifics of treatment. We discussed the importance of proper wound care, infection prevention, and the use of cutting-edge dressings.
Attendees were able to work in groups, performing various modeling exercises and consolidating their theoretical knowledge in practice. Each of the participants could practice bandaging, wound care, and diverse techniques, which will definitely increase their confidence in working with patients.
