Happy Day of Unity of Ukraine
Dear Ukrainians, today we celebrate the Day of Unity, a holiday of unity, strength of spirit, and unbreakable will of our people. The Act of Union of the Ukrainian People’s Republic and the West Ukrainian People’s Republic was declared on this day, January 22, 1919, symbolizing the unification of Ukrainian lands and national unity. This day reminds us how important it is to be together in the fight for our freedom, independence, and future.

As part of the celebration of the Day of Unity, IEU hosted the flash mob of embroidered shirts!
Students, lecturers, and staff of the University at Kyiv and Malta campuses showed their unity by wearing their embroidered shirts on this day.
The Day of Unity reminds us that we are strong together and unity is our greatest strength.
