Finance without decorations: a gust lecture by the real business practitioner at IEU
On May 15, 2025, students of International European University in the Accounting and Auditing discipline had a unique opportunity to see the financial sector internally, from the perspective of the experienced expert.
The guest lecture on the topic: Company Finance in Figures was held by Viktoriia Borysevych, Chief Accountant at IVMED LLC, an expert in taxation, economic security of business, and financial consulting.
What was discussed?
Participants:
• Found out why financial statements are the foundation for company management, not just paperwork.
• Learned how to analyze key financial documents and identify important indicators affecting business decision-making.
• Gained the clear understanding of the role of accounting in ensuring transparency and business stability.
Besides, students discovered such crucial concepts as the cash plan, cash gaps, and learned how financial management can efficiently prevent crises within a company.
The format of the meeting also allowed students to ask questions, hear answers from the field, and immerse themselves into the real financial challenges faced by modern companies.
