First Aid Instructor Training at IEU
A First Aid Instructor Training was held at the International European University in partnership with the State Institution “Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Center of Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.”
Over the course of two days, participants engaged in intensive training that combined theory, hands-on practice, and simulation-based scenarios.
The goal of the training was not just to teach the basics of first aid, but to prepare future instructors who will go on to train others.
What was included in the program?
Overview of legal regulations and certified first aid programs Training in practical teaching methods (the 4-step method) Practice at every stage — from basic skills to complex simulations Scenario-building, simulation work, and debriefing sessions Discussion of challenging cases and instructor-specific approaches Final testing and participant certificationA key feature of the course was the blend of lectures, demonstrations, small group discussions, and practical exercises. This comprehensive format gave every participant the opportunity not only to learn but to truly step into the role of a future instructor.
