International European University signed an agreement with Casa di Cura Villa Azzurra Clinic (Siracusa, Italy), which is now the official clinical base for practical training and internship of IEU students and interns.
It means that our students will be able to:
— undergo clinical practical training at the European medical institution;
— observe the organization of medical processes in a foreign healthcare system;
— interact with Italian colleagues and patients, gaining real intercultural experience;
— improve clinical thinking, communication skills, and basic clinical work skills in the EU.
At Villa Azzurra Clinic, students will work under the supervision of practicing doctors. The format of practical training is adapted to the requirements of the University program: from standard clinical observations to gradual involvement in the treatment process, depending on the course and level of training.
This partnership is another step toward making practical training of our students comply with modern international standards.
