Congratulations to our student winners!We are happy and proud to announce that our talented students are the winners at the Medicine of Five Continents International Scientific Conference held on December 6-7 in Malta. This Conference brought together young specialists from all over the world, and we had a unique opportunity to listen to their presentations that impressed us with their relevance and innovation.
We conducted the competition among students, giving everyone a chance to win a travel grant from our University. It is a great opportunity to show your skills and present your research findings, as well as visit wonderful Malta.
According to the competition results, 15 talented students and young researchers won Travel grants: students of Ivan Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University, International European University, etc.
The travel grant covered travel expenses, accommodation, and partially meals.
The 1st place: Mariia Tymko (the 1st year of IEU internship)Topic: Melanoma on the Skin. Phototypes: The Comparative Clinical Study and Dermoscopic Features.
Mariia presented her research findings on melanoma, one of the most aggressive types of skin cancer.
The 2nd place: Amara-Nwosu Precious Chimeremma (fourth-year IEU student)Topic: HIV Infection: Global Challenges and Regional Particularities.
She focused on complex issues related to HIV infection and various aspects of combating the epidemic in different regions worldwide.
The 3rd place: Majd Awadalah Sbetan (fifth-year IEU student)Topic: Antibiotic Resistance: The Growing Global Health Threat.
Majd raised one of the most pressing issues of our time – antibiotic resistance.
