As part of the official visit at the invitation of Alla Navolokina, Alix De Gassar, Attaché for University and Scientific Cooperation of the French Embassy in Ukraine, attended International European University.

The meeting was aimed at establishing fruitful cooperation. Franz-Volodymyr von Habsburg-Lothringen, President of the university, and Acting Rector Oleh Padalka presented an educational activity strategy. They talked about elaborated projects successfully implemented at the university and offered Ms. Attaché joint Ukrainian and French projects.

The main areas of collaboration will include French learning for lecturers with a further possibility to carry out the educational process and academic mobility as part of the summer school with universities of France. Besides, Alix De Gassar promised to give an open lecture for students on occasion.

The representative of French Embassy’s diplomatic mission in Ukraine was quite impressed with the global scale of projects planned by IEU. During the excursion around the university, she communicated with students and the administration, as well as stressed high-quality equipping of classrooms encouraging excellent training of students.

The institutions are going to sign a memorandum of cooperation soon and start implementing educational projects on the premises of the University.
