Svitlana Doan, a professor, Doctor of Medicine, the Vice-rector for educational and scientific work and post-graduate education, conducted interesting vaping research along with other members of the international team of the European Academy of Paediatrics (EAP).

The findings are published in EAP’s official journal titled ‘Frontiers in Pediatrics’.

According to the investigation, vaping is unfortunately becoming a part of style of young and adult people. Children also use e-cigs without realizing their threat. Taking into account the rate of vaping trend distribution, it can be referred to the pandemic of our times.

Members of the European Academy of Paediatrics (EAP) reports that e-liquids not just have the same toxicity in comparison with tobacco, but they also have an extra harmful effect. Electronic cigarettes contain different non-regulated chemical substances including well-known cancerogenes, which acute and longstanding toxicity is unknown. The scientists state that there is incontrovertible evidence that acute toxicity of e-cigs is higher than of traditional tobacco. As of today, one has recorded numerous cases of acute lung toxicity, including acute injuries of lungs caused by vaping.
