On June 29, 2023, the conference hall of International European University hosted the final meeting of the Academic Council in this academic year.
Beginning the session, Oleh Padalka, the Acting Rector of the University, highlighted the list of issues for collective discussion and gave the floor to the first speaker. Iryna Torbenko, the Vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work and international relations, presented the draft University Development Strategy (taking into account amendments introduced by the team) and the promising implementation plan.
The second agenda item was the discussion of the report by Tetiana Dudka, the Academic Secretary of the University, on the accomplishment of Academic Council’s decisions for the 2022-2023 academic year.

Key issues included the team performance in the 2022-2023 academic year and the University preparation for the new academic year covered by the Chair of the Academic Council.
Oleh Padalka expressed his gratitude to the whole team for initiative and persistence, high professionalism, conscientious fulfillment of official duties and personal contribution to the development of education and science of our state. The closing chord of this matter was the acknowledgement of the best team representatives according to the results of the 2022/2023 academic year by the President of the University and the Rector.

Besides, attendees listened to the report on a business trip to India by Yuliia Remyha, the Acting Director of the European Business School.
At the end, Acting Rector Oleh Padalka thanked all employees of International European University who always show an active public position, inspiring work to improve their own professional skills, to create a positive image of the University, constant academic development and establishment of the competitive national education system.
