2025 internship admission: important changes and opportunities at IEU

On March 19, 2025, the IEU’s Institute of Postgraduate Education held a consulting meeting dedicated to new internship admission rules. Changes approved by the Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine No. 177 dd. January 30, 2025, raised numerous questions among graduates desiring to continue their studies and gain professional experience.

Participants found out about new competitive selection requirements and criteria, as well as particularities of submitting documents and choosing a specialty. They discussed relevant issues: how to select the proper training area and clinical base for internship, what documents are required for allocation, and advantages of studying at IEU.

Special attention was given to international opportunities for interns: internships abroad, participation in exchange programs, and the procedure for confirming qualifications outside Ukraine.

Besides, attendees were introduced to job offers by public and private medical institutions and career opportunities for future doctors.
